EUPROMS quality of life results in official journal of the European Association of Urology
An analysis of quality of life of men with prostate cancer, based on Europa Uomo’s EUPROMS study, has been published in the journal European Urology Focus, and is now available for download.
The paper, authored by Europa Uomo Board members and researchers from Erasmus University Medical Center Rotterdam, indicates how treatment affects sexual function, as well as fatigue and insomnia.
“Quality of life for men undergoing chemotherapy is worse for almost all domains,” concludes the paper. “These data can inform physicians and patients on the true impact of prostate cancer treatment.”
The paper, titled “Europa Uomo Patient Reported Outcome Study (EUPROMS): Descriptive Statistics of a Prostate Cancer Survey from Patients for Patients”, is available for free download until 23rd January 2021.
