‘Cheat sheet’ of treatment pathways now available

The European Association of Urology (EAU) has published a new “cheat sheet” summarising the official European clinical guidelines on the treatment of prostate cancer. The overview has been compiled by EAU with the European Association of Nuclear Medicine, the European Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology, the European Society of Urogenital Radiology, the International Society of Urological Pathology and the International Society of Geriatric Oncology.

Although designed as an easy reference guide for clinicians, the EAU cheat sheets also provide patients and their organisations with a useful summary of what procedures and treatments are recommended at each stage.

“This review of the EAU Guidelines on the treatment of ProstateCancer is a collaborative effort to create a concise but comprehensive look at treatment pathways,” says EAU.
